Baby Watch: One Week Old

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

They’re one week old! They’ve come a long way in one week. They’re obviously much bigger than the day they were born, but they’ve also done a lot of developing over the last seven days. You can now tell them all apart, each has distinct markings and a layer of fur. Their ears have separated from the sides of their heads, and they’re developing eyelids.

In the pictures, they’re laying on a Post-It note for size comparison. They’re on a scale, measuring in grams. At this point they’re ranging in weight from 15 grams to 18 grams, with the average being just under 16g.
